Stability is a human construct we have created out of necessity to help us feel safe and secure in our lives. Many of us long for stasis, striving to find the perfect, stable life—at the risk of becoming complacent with our quiet and secure status, and failing to recognize the indicators of change that call for action. We need to develop the ability to navigate a world of uncertainty and change that makes us anxious.
